Timing comes first
Every piece is made to order and checked by hand, so plan on about two weeks from order to delivery. For Christmas, order by early December. If you are buying ornaments, order them first: they go on the tree weeks before the presents go under it.
Before you shop, collect what you'll need: the person's birth date and their team. For a game they attended, you'll need the date and the teams. If you are buying for several people, a quick family group text asking "what team does everyone root for" will save time.
