A black belt is years of classes, tests and bruises, one belt at a time. The best gift marks the whole road, not only the last test.
The Journey
The Journey draws every belt in its color, stripes and degrees included, climbing the print from white to black, each with the date it was earned and the school. Any art and any belt order: karate, taekwondo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, kung fu. From $45.
For the kid who just started
My Belt Journey draws every belt in their school's order with a line beside each for the date they earn it. It hangs on the bedroom wall and gets a new date after every test. From $39.
For every belt test
The Rank Promotion Certificate draws the new belt in its color with the student's name, the date and the instructors' signatures. Schools order one for every student who tested. From $24.
For the dojo wall
The Black Belt Honor Roll lists every black belt a school has promoted, with the year and degree. From $45.
For competitors
If they compete, The Record lays out the career: the record set big, the tale of the tape and every bout with how it ended. From $45.
